President

Preside at General PTO meetings and Executive Board meetings;

Serve as the official representative of the PTO;

Retain all official records of the PTO;

Serve as the primary contact for the principal;

Serve as an ex officio member of all committees except the nominating committee and auditing committee;

Coordinate the work of all the officers and committees so that the purpose of the organization is served;

Sign, with the secretary or any other officer authorized by the Board of Directors, any contracts;

Informs the Board of Directors of possible programs, meetings, and functions of the organization;

The President and Treasurer review and approve all correspondence and documents provided to school personnel, the membership, or the public with regard to Suchma Elementary PTO activities;

One of the authorized to sign on bank accounts (two signatures shall be required on all checks);
