What is a Birthday Gram?

• A Birthday Gram is a special birthday recognition for your student that will appear on the school marquee during their birthday week!

What will the Birthday Gram say?

• All Birthday Grams will use the same format:

Happy Birthday

          Susie Q.!

• No custom messages or wording requests are available.

When will my Birthday Gram be displayed?

• Your Birthday Gram will be displayed during the week you select and will scroll along with the other Birthday Grams scheduled for that week.

Will my Birthday Gram be displayed every day?

• Birthday Grams will be displayed on days that school is in session. The PTO will use the marquee's scheduling function to schedule messages throughout the selected week.

What if my selected week includes a school holiday?

• Birthday Grams are scheduled by week, based on the school calendar. If your selected week includes a school holiday, the Birthday Gram cannot be guaranteed to display on days when school is closed.

• The PTO will do its best to utilize the marquee's scheduling function to display the message on as many school days as possible.

Is there a discount for weeks that include a school holiday?

• No. Discounts are not provided for weeks that include school holidays. Birthday Grams are purchased by the week, and the PTO will make every effort to maximize the available school days for displaying the messages.

When is the purchase deadline?

• Birthday Grams must be purchased at least two weeks before the week you want the message displayed.

THIS DEADLINE WILL NOT TAKE EFFECT UNTIL THE WEEK OF OCTOBER 5. 

For example, if you want a Birthday Gram displayed during the week of October 5, it must be purchased by September 21.

Why is there a two-week cutoff?

• The two-week cutoff gives the PTO time to organize Birthday Grams and schedule the marquee messages in advance.

Can I request a specific day?

• No. Birthday Grams are scheduled for the selected week, not a guaranteed specific day. Messages will scroll with the other Birthday Grams scheduled for that week.

Can I request a different message or font?

• No. All Birthday Grams will use the standard “Happy Birthday, First Name Last Initial!” format in a standard font.
